The 2018 Virtual Futures Festival Theme 

Diverse Futures - The future as a collective imagining

Presented by The Association of Professional Futurists

 7 am - 7 pm EDT (Toronto/New York) 


The Futures Festival will be 12 hours of hands-on content and discussion featuring speakers from around the globe.

The theme this year is: Diverse Futures - The future as a collective imagining.

Through our theme the festival speakers will center on the concept of inclusion and plurality in how people from all walks of life and parts of the world approach the future – and how these diverse expressions incrementally transform communities, structures, and systems.

This is a virtual conference.  It will be live-streamed and recorded using zoom (  There will be no cost to use the service, but you will have to download the app. We will follow up with instructions and appropriate links, with all registrants.

The festival will be free and open to the public (maximum seating: 100 people at a time).* 

*Please consider making a contribution of $10 USD towards the event if you can afford it. No tax receipt will be issued.
